His big blue head bends backwards, mouth agape, teeth flying towards an erect tongue as mushrooms sprout from his mind and blood courses through his veins. The landscape is an absurd theatre where his dreams come to mock him. They haunt him, taunt him, crawl out of the darkness and scream deep into his soul.
This isn't pretty. This is something trying to escape the thing it came from.
The mind has a mind of its own. “Don't Dream, Stupid!” He can't help it. Life is a dream, and strange things bubble up from beneath the surface, beyond rhyme or reason. Welcome to the mysterious realm where madness reigns. He's lost control. His mind has blown. Here and now… anything and everything is possible.
"We see with the eyes, but we see with the brain as well. And seeing with the brain is often called imagination."
— Oliver Sacks, Musicophilia
