As two lovely ladies share an intimate moment on the rivers edge, a man legs astride balances between the rocks, water pours from both his mouth and bottom and he appears to be enjoying himself as the river runs through him. A lone figure (with wiggly tail) sits on a tigers skin peacefully dreaming and arrows fly through the scene... but no one is fazed. Three heads bob-out of the water as one man extends an excited tongue to lick the finger of a titillating woman who is reclining on the banks of the river wearing a yellow shawl and holding an egg. The sensual quality of the landscape suggests that the creases and folds belong to the body of something greater and a goddess-like figure has her arms stretched out, she is holding a burning candle in either hand and one on her head... is she engaged in a dangerous game… or maybe she is the messenger of this piece and she wants to tell us that... ‘in all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order’.
This tapestry is available to pre-order as part of a strictly limited edition of 10. Each piece is woven in the Netherlands. Please allow approximately 1–3 months before dispatch.

To preserve your tapestry, keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and high humidity. Handle with clean, dry hands and gently dust with a soft brush. When storing, roll loosely and keep in a clean, dry place. Avoid folding, rubbing or using cleaning products on the woven surface.

In-stock tapestries are prepared and dispatched from our studio within 5–7 days. For pre-orders, the tapestry, frame or both are made to order. Please allow 1–3 months before dispatch, depending on our weavers’ schedule. Delivery time is additional and varies by destination.
