NAGA WOVEN TAPESTRY
LIMITED EDITION - ONLY 10 MADE
Painted in gold and bronze hues, a giant beast stares forth. Crooked rows of teeth make for a demonic grin, as its nostrils flare and its wild eyes burn in the night sky.
• 100% Certified Recycled Wool & Cotton
• Woven tapestry featuring original artwork by Stevie Anderson (After Hieronymus Bosch)
• Limited edition of 10
• Framed: One piece available now
• Unframed: Available by pre-order only
• Approximate tapestry dimensions: 150 × 111 cm | 59.1 × 43.7 in.
• Crafted in the Netherlands by master Dutch weavers
• Duties and taxes included for the UK, EU, USA and Australia
THE ARTWORK
The Naga or dragon is a symbol of profound complexity; merging the potent imagery of the serpent and the bird, two powerful symbols in their own right. Dating back to ancient times, the dragon stands as one of the most formidable creatures in mythology. In both Chivalric and Christian traditions, it embodies evil. However, in the Orient, the dragon takes on a different significance, representing supernatural power, wisdom, strength, and esoteric knowledge.
UNFRAMED PRE-ORDER INFORMATION
The unframed tapestry is available by pre-order as part of a strictly limited edition of 10. Each piece is woven in the Netherlands. Please allow approximately 1–3 months before dispatch, depending on our weavers' production schedule.
