Fuelled by lashings of moonshine, peyote and the mystery of the landscape, this expressive, raw painting features a drunken cowboy alongside a more enigmatic figure wearing a skirt adorned with mystical symbols. A surreal glimpse into the strange, hazy world of the Old West, where folklore, intoxication and the supernatural blur into one.
Rich in texture and expressive mark-making, the painting conceals the artist's cypher within the composition, rewarding a closer look at the hidden details and curiosities buried within the work.
Each original artwork comes with an exclusive Certificate of Authenticity (COA), signed by Lex Anderson, confirming the work's authenticity and providing a personal record of its provenance.
To preserve your original artwork, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture and high humidity. Handle unframed artwork with clean, dry hands, taking care not to touch the painted surface.
Framed works should be cleaned gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not apply cleaning products directly to the artwork or frame.

Unframed originals are prepared and dispatched from our studio within 5–7 days. If you choose a framed original, we make the frame to order. Please allow 2–6 weeks before dispatch, depending on our framing schedule. Delivery time is additional and varies by destination.

Where framing is selected, solid wood frames are sourced from sustainable suppliers.
We use protective packaging materials selected with care to safeguard each artwork during its journey.
