Le Monde is also said to represent cosmic consciousness; the potential of perfect union with the One Power of the universe. The figure, Sophia (meaning wisdom) sits at the centre of the world and offers abundance and knowledge, she is a sacred lady and a symbol of the goal of the mystical seeker.
