THE ARTWORK
A heap of happy humans, bare bummed, buxom and bathing, exist in an unknown paradise, a natural world filled with splendour and delight.
As two lovely ladies share an intimate moment on the river’s edge, a man, legs astride, balances between the rocks. Water pours from both his mouth and bottom, and he appears to be enjoying himself as the river runs through him. A lone figure (with wiggly tail) sits on a tiger’s skin, peacefully dreaming, and arrows fly through the scene... but no one is fazed.
Three heads bob out of the water as one man extends an excited tongue to lick the finger of a titillating woman who is reclining on the banks of the river, wearing a yellow shawl and holding an egg. The sensual quality of the landscape suggests that the creases and folds belong to the body of something greater, and a goddess-like figure has her arms stretched out. She is holding a burning candle in either hand and one on her head... is she engaged in a dangerous game... or maybe she is the messenger of this piece.
